| Here are the steps: |
| 1. You
will need the following things filled out: a.) Your application form - individual or team. b.) Your abstract. c.) Title Sheet. The title sheet will take the place of your current title sheet, and the abstract form will be included in your paper just after the cover sheet. This means you will not need to change the table of contents to reflect the addition of your abstract. (the format of the forms on these links are REQUIRED and points will be deducted from your overall score for not following this format.) |
| 2. Turn in your application and 5 copies of your report to Mr. Schiller by Thursday, February 24 at the latest. Applications must be received by West Michigan Science Challenge by Thursday, March 3. I will sign the applications as your sponsor and mail the applications and reports or deliver them myself. |
| 3. Complete details about the application process and schedules for West Michigan Science Challenge Day can be found on pages 4-10 of the Science Challange Handbook. West Michigan Science Challenge is on Thursday, March 17. Please share this information with your parents and let them know that you will need to leave school early on that day to setup and be with your project by 4:00PM. Projects are going to be setup from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Judges will preview the projects from 3:00 - 4:00 PM without students or parents present, then judes interview students (only) from 4:00-6:00 PM. More details on the schedule can be found on page 4 of the science challenge handbook. |
